Our Story

As a father-daughter duo, Dave and Tristen have taken many camping, paddling, and fishing trips together throughout the years. While each of their trips looked a little different, common themes were the portages and journeys through the woods that they took to arrive at their destinations. As with any successful adventure, they planned and prepared for all of the points along their treks in order to experience some truly breathtaking and tranquil parts of nature.

Today, Dave and Tristen still share their love for the outdoors but have shifted their meaning of portage from the woods to personal finance. Together, they assist clients with planning and executing their financial journeys. After all, there is always a next portage to be thinking about.
