Frequently Asked Questions

There is no cost for an initial meeting. We use this time to learn more about your specific financial situation and determine if our services may be a good fit to meet your needs. The Fact Finder and Investor Profile Questionnaire are helpful documents to download, fill out, and bring to an initial meeting.

Our fees are dependent on the services and account types selected. Advisory accounts, our most popular account type, are assessed a fee as a percentage of assets under management. Brokerage accounts are charged a commission at the time an investment recommendation is implemented. Financial planning and consulting services are complimentary with management of an advisory account and are otherwise charged an hourly fee.

We take pride in providing tailored financial solutions to address the unique needs of a diverse clientele, including teachers, engineers, medical workers, financial professionals, self-employed individuals, and small businesses.

The majority of our portfolios contain a mix of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and exchange traded funds. We create client portfolios based on the risk tolerance, time horizon, and overall suitability for each individual client.

Our advisors work with LPL Financial, a broker-dealer that provides advisors with the tools and resources to help their clients achieve their goals but does not have any proprietary products or selling quotas. This gives our advisors extreme flexibility to select products and investments that are suitable for clients.

There are three parts to developing a financial plan; 1. Data Gathering, 2. Discovery, and 3. Recommendations. A typical plan takes around four to five hours to put together and should be updated yearly at a minimum or as major life changes occur.
